A native of Suffolk (England), this singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is enjoying tremendous success in France and Great Britain. His music, which could be described as “soul folk” with upbeat melodies, caught the attention of Peter Gabriel who offered to release Charlie’s record on his label Real World. The result – an album entitled Hobo (produced by Mark Plati who has also worked with David Bowie, The Cure, and Rita Mitsouko) that has already sold over one million copies in Europe. The album is slated for release in Quebec on March 9th.
His song “In Your Hands” has just started to get airplay on Montreal radio stations.
